Baby Sweater

After a very long time I have finished a project  which is ready to be shared with you guys. This one I had to complete soon coz  it's a baby sweater which I made for my darling niece Shania.

It is a quick quick project I was eager to finish it off and see how our princess looked after wearing it...

To my disappointment it turned out to be a little big for her. I did some forward thinking in making the sweater big in size thinking she would grow into it and the utility of the sweater would be for a longer time.

And here is the  baby enjoying her new sweater....

She loves bright colors all the while I was working on her sweater she just kept staring ....

Busy me.....

I had not been feeling like crocheting due to my busy schedule, the only thing I am feeling like is sleeping zzzzzzzz for hours and hours together..... however I am pushing myself hard to be creative...I already have a baby blanket , a toran and a spiral scarf which needs to be completed but rather than working on them I have started a new project a shawl which I hope I will work on and finish soon unlike my other projects.... I am really behaving insane these days....I just hope to get back to normal and start enjoying crocheting.....Here is a glimpse of the shawl I am currently working on...

The climate in Mumbai is giving everyone a mixed feeling of winter and summer....one day hot the other day cold.... but one thing is for sure that summer has arrived and I have in mind a lot of summer projects which I hopefully will get time to work on....I really get a very little time after office for crochet and it makes me sad ….weekends are also packed....

Lately , I have been working on this shrug it took a lot of efforts to remove time for it....but finally , finally its done... and I am so glad , for whom it was made just loved it....It is such a wonderful feeling when someone appreciates your work... you can find the pattern for this shrug over here

I am currently working on a baby blanket....my Sister-in-law is expecting and the baby is due on 04th April... Just counting the days....

What Sush has been working on

Hello Friends !!!! I had not expected myself to be back so soon but I had to share what my best friend Sushma has been working on.

Lets get started with the Toran isn't it lovely the bright pink colour and the shell stitch. The best part is that she has even added some pearly beads and pom poms to it which enhances its look. The next thing on my to-do list is to learn this from her and make one for my home...

Second comes the Pointy Baby Booties, awww I just loved the colour combination. The baby is going to enjoy this...

With the Pointy Baby Booties there is even a dress for the baby. The dress is also worked with the shell stitch and those tiny hearts on it are just so cute...

What I have been upto...

How much ever I try to be regular with my blog it doesn't work and so I have thought of sharing all the little projects I have been working on in today's post itself. Lets begin with my renovated old stool. I had this old stool at home which looked a lot worn out , I even tried painting it to give it a fresh look. Later on I got a much better idea of making a crochet cover with a little stuffing on it and ta-dah here it is.

With the left over yarn I made this sweet little hand warmer for my nephew Mikhail. He just loved it and kept flaunting it in front of his friends.

I even made a Beanie for myself for a weekend trip. I used pure wool from Aristocrat to make this one and worked with a 3.5 mm hook. The pattern could be found over here  from the very talented Bob Wilson's Website

Recently I made this Hand Sanitizer Cozy and decorated it with crochet flowers. I need to add a button on the side. To remove pictures of it I have just supported it with a stitch marker. You can find the pattern for this at Micah Makes over here

That's it for now......Lets see when I can find the time for blogging again....Till then keep crocheting....
